Our next guest was my sister's oldest son, Aaron. He wasn't able to make the Thanksgiving trip, so we were thankful to have him for a few days before Christmas! I hadn't seen Aaron since he was 5 or 6 years old. As you can see, he has grown quite a bit! We, of course, had to take Aaron to the sites. So, once again, we found ourselves at the Alamo, the Riverwalk and, of course, our favorite Texas BBQ joint. (We always look for an excuse to eat good BBQ!) Aaron is such a wonderful young man--it's no wonder Cheryl is so proud of him! My children bonded instantly with him. Meghan, in particular was incredibly sad to see him go! We are all looking forward to more family get togethers! Luckily, I finally remembered my camera!!
Yes, he was just like one of my kids!
